Antea Group’s Class A/B and Class C underground storage tank (UST) operator training and exam courses are approved by the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality’s (VDEQ) UST Program. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for your records.
All courses will expire and must be completed within 90 days of purchase.
Antea Group’s Virginia Class A/B UST operator training course is available on-demand, making it easy for you to complete anytime and anywhere. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as you wish.
Depending on the user, the training typically takes approximately five hours to complete. In addition, your course purchase comes with a comprehensive handbook that can be downloaded and used for the 75-question, open-book exam following the training, as well as an on-the-job reference material.
Antea Group’s Virginia Class C UST training course is available on-demand, and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As with most states, Class C training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the Class A or Class B operator following a review of the UST system for your facility.
UST Training Requirements for Virginia
The VDEQ requires the training and examination of all Class A and Class B operators. Training must be completed by Virginia’s TurboTank program, or through an approved third-party vendor. To receive the certification, operators must score an 80 percent or better on the training course exam.
In addition, the VDEQ requires the training of all Class C operators. Class C operators may be trained through a state-approved third-party provider, or a certified A/B operator on-site. Class C operators must be briefed every 12 months.
