Reciprocity & Additional Resources

North Dakota does accept operator training certifications from other states that have equivalent training requirements. However, operators seeking reciprocity must also take at least three training modules from the ND-DoH training program including an introduction to the program, an overview of operator training requirements, and practices specific to operating USTs in North Dakota. The ND-DoH also requires operators to upload the training materials from another state’s courses so they can review and approve the course and grant reciprocity.
