UST Operator Training Resources for Missouri
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MDNR) provides free operator training for all classes of operators through its Petroleum Storage Tank Insurance Fund. Get more information and quick links to courses below.
Class A, Class B and Class C Operator Requirements for Missouri
All operator classes are required to complete training and an exam to be certified, but operators have their choice in how to meet this requirement.
The first option, which is recommended, is completing a comprehensive course with quizzes; users must get 80 percent correct or retake the course. Separate courses are offered for Class A/B operators and Class C operators.
The second option is a stand-alone test for more experienced operators. Users must get 80 percent correct and are allowed to retake the test one time. If a passing score is not achieved the second time, you must complete the comprehensive course option.
