Mississippi UST Operator Training

COURSE DESCRIPTIONS

Antea Group’s UST Compliance Manager (A/B) and UST Operations Clerk (C) training courses are approved by the Mississippi Department of Environmental Management’s (MDEQ) UST Program. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for your records.

All courses will expire and must be completed within 90 days of purchase. Please also note to use Google Chrome or Firefox as your browser. Internet Explorer and Edge can have issues with some aspects of your course.

UST Compliance Manager (A/B)

Antea Group’s Mississippi UST Compliance Manager operator training course is available on-demand, making it easy for you to complete anytime and anywhere. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as you wish.

Depending on the user, the training typically takes approximately five hours to complete. In addition, your course purchase comes with a comprehensive handbook that can be downloaded and used for the 75-question, open-book exam following the training, as well as other on-the-job reference materials and forms.

UST Operations Clerk (Class C)

Antea Group’s Mississippi UST Operations Clerk training course is available on-demand, and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. UST Operations Clerk training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the UST Compliance Manager following a review of the UST system for your facility.

UST TRAINING REQUIREMENTS FOR MISSISSIPPI 

MDEQ requires the training and examination of all UST Compliance Managers and UST Operations Clerks. There are no retraining requirements unless MDEQ requires retraining due to compliance deficiencies that were identified during an inspection.

MDEQ requires the facility-specific training of all UST Operations Clerks by the UST Compliance Manager. There are no retraining requirements; however, annual retraining is strongly recommended.

RECIPROCITY & ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

As of October 5, 2018, MDEQ does not accept operator training certification for individuals trained outside of Mississippi.
