Class C Operator Training

Antea Group’s Class C UST training course is available on-demand and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As with most states, Class C training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the Class A or Class B operator following a review of the UST system for your facility.

Note: This course must be completed within 90 days of purchase or it will expire.

Class A & Class B Operator Training Requirements for Michigan

At this time, the only Michigan state-approved UST training provider is the International Code Council (ICC). Below you’ll find details on specific training requirements for all classes of operators, as well as quick links to ICC training and more information.

The MDEQ requires Class A and Class B operators to take and pass the state’s UST operator exam. The exam is an “open book” test administered by the ICC and is subject to the restrictions of the ICC. The exam also must be taken at ICC testing sites, which are administered by the ICC’s computer-based testing vendor, Pearson VUE, throughout the state. Operators must renew their ICC certification every five years.
