Wisconsin UST Operator Training
Our Certified UST Training Offerings
Antea Group’s Class A/B and Class C underground storage tank (UST) operator training courses are approved by the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection. Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for your records.
All courses will expire and must be completed within 30 days of purchase.
Antea Group’s combined Class A/B UST operator training course for Wisconsin operators is available on-demand, making it easy for you to complete anytime and anywhere. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as you wish.
Depending on the user, the training typically takes approximately five hours to complete. In addition, your course purchase comes with a comprehensive handbook that can be downloaded and used for the 75-question, open-book exam following the training, as well as an on-the-job reference material.
Antea Group’s Wisconsin Class C UST training course is available on-demand, and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As with most states, Class C training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the Class A or Class B operator following a review of the UST system for your facility.
UST Training Requirements for Wisconsin
Wisconsin requires the training of all Class A and Class B operators. To complete the training requirement, operators can either take and pass the International Code Council (ICC) Wisconsin-specific exam, or complete a training and examination course through Antea Group or another approved provider. Retraining is only required when a facility is found out of compliance.
As for Class C operators in Wisconsin, they must obtain training and certification on-site from the accredited Class A or Class B operator, or through a state-approved third-party provider such as Antea Group.
Reciprocity & Additional Resources
Wisconsin may accept UST certifications from other states that have similar training requirements for operators. For approval, you need to provide written proof of your training verification, review Wisconsin rules, and sign a form stating that you have read and understand the Wisconsin rules. For more information, operators should contact the Department’s Compliance Officer, Alicia Clark:
