Course Descriptions

Antea Group’s Class A/B and Class C underground storage tank (UST) operator training courses are approved by the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP). After completing the training or passing the exam, you’ll receive a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for your records.

All courses will expire and must be completed within 30 days of purchase.

Class A/B

Antea Group’s Nevada Class A/B UST operator training course is available on-demand, making it easy for you to complete anytime and anywhere. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as you wish.

Depending on the user, the training typically takes approximately five hours to complete. In addition, your course purchase comes with a comprehensive handbook that can be downloaded and used for the 75-question, open-book exam following the training, as well as an on-the-job reference material.

Class C

Antea Group’s Nevada Class C UST training course is available on-demand, and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As with most states, Class C training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the Class A or Class B operator following a review of the UST system for your facility.

UST Training Requirements for Nevada

Nevada requires the training of all Class A, Class B and Class C operators through a third-party state-approved course. The NDEP also requires UST owners to designate a Class A, Class B and Class C operator for each facility and its associated USTs on a special form. This form must be maintained on-site or made available during compliance inspections or upon request. Along with the form, operators must also present documentation that the training requirements have been satisfied for each class.

Reciprocity & Additional Resources

Nevada does accept operator certifications from other states. However, the operator must demonstrate that he or she has satisfied another state’s Class A or Class B operator training requirements, and is approved as a Class A or Class B operators within that state. The NDEP must also be able to verify that the operator is in ”good standing” with the state for which he or she is approved as a Class A or Class B operator. For acceptance, operators should contact the NDEP:
