UST Training Requirements for Nebraska

Nebraska requires the training of all Class A and Class B operators through a state-approved courses. In addition, Class A and Class B operators must be retrained every five years. However, if a UST system is found to be out of compliance, the Fire Marshal may require retraining prior to the five-year retraining date. Antea Group’s combined Class A/B training course meets state requirements for both classes.

For Class C operators, Nebraska also requires initial training, which can be completed through a state-approved course. Retraining is required for Class C operators every three years, but if the facility is found out of compliance, retraining may be required prior to the three-year retraining date.

Reciprocity & Additional Resources

Nebraska only accepts certifications from other states when the State Fire Marshal has provided written documentation that the other training program has met the state training requirements.
