Course Descriptions

Antea Group’s New Mexico Class A/B and Class C underground storage tank (UST) operator training course is approved for reciprocity in Idaho by the Idaho Department of Environmental Quality (IDEQ). Upon completion, you’ll receive a certificate that can be downloaded and printed for your records.

All courses will expire and must be completed within 30 days of purchase.

Class A/B

Antea Group’s Class A/B UST operator training course is available on-demand, making it easy for you to complete anytime and anywhere. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as you wish.

Depending on the user, the training typically takes approximately five hours to complete. In addition, your course purchase comes with a comprehensive handbook that can be downloaded and used for the 75-question, open-book exam following the training, as well as an on-the-job reference material.

Class C

Antea Group’s Class C UST training course is available on-demand, and can be taken anytime and anywhere for your convenience. The course is self-paced, allowing you to stop and start as many times as needed. The training takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. As with most states, Class C training is facility-specific, so certification is only valid after signature approval by the Class A or Class B operator following a review of the UST system for your facility.

UST Training Requirements for Idaho

Idaho requires the training of all Class A and Class B operators. In most cases, the training requirement may be satisfied by completing TankHelper training that is provided on-site by an IDEQ inspector. However, third-party training programs that are approved through reciprocity are also acceptable training methods. Antea Group’s UST operator training for New Mexico is one such program.

For Class C operators, Class A or Class B operators are required to provide them with an instruction sheet and emergency contact phone numbers before letting the operator assume responsibility for responding to emergencies. Class C operators can also be trained through a third-party training program approved through reciprocity such as Antea Group’s New Mexico Class C course.

Reciprocity & Additional Resources

As previously stated, Idaho does accept operator training certification for individuals trained outside of Idaho. As previously mentioned, Antea Group’s training program for New Mexico has been approved for use in Idaho.
